Yes, something like that. The scope of the task that is better than nothing, but not as comfortable and convenient, as an astronomical telescope to look. Certainly not shown, lost much of its small aperture and low magnification and light through the lenses. Most of these are areas that are designed for use in a horizontal position and impractical when the horizons.

Yes, you can see the craters on the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and its 4 moons of Saturn and its rings, small but well defined, the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades.
